Notes

Dear fellow vendors

If you receive this link, it's because you and I are about to create something amazing for two people who are in love! If we haven't met yet, my name is Henry and I will be the filmmaker from the couple who send you this link! I’m so excited to work and collaborate with everyone to make this day unforgettable for them! This is a way to introduce myself as your fellow vendor and what you should expect from me on the wedding day. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me from the form below. Thank you in advance for your cooperation and I look forward to working with you!

BRIDE & GROOM

Timeline
Since you will have only one filmmaker throughout your wedding day, there are few things to consider in your wedding timeline that will allow for smooth coordination. Please remember to email me a copy of your wedding timeline as soon as it's ready.

Getting ready
It would be ideal to capture the two of you (bride and groom) getting ready. Since I'm the only filmmaker, it would be helpful if the groom gets ready first before the bride or vice-versa. If this is not possible, I will only be able to film the bride getting ready and then do a mock of the groom getting ready at the ceremony location, or at the “first look” site (e.g., groom fixes his tie, cufflinks, and buttons his shirt or jacket).

First look
I would like to work with the photographer to pick the best spot for this shoot, ideally somewhere that is quiet enough to capture quality sound of the couple’s reactions. It is best if it’s only the couple and us (Photographer and myself) at the first look site. The groom and bride will be mic’d for sound recording (same for the ceremony).

Exchange and reading letters
If you’re exchanging letters (during your first look or at any other time before the ceremony) and would like want me to record you reading the letters, it is ideal to do it somewhere that is free of background noise.

Drone
Weather permitting, if you would like to be filmed aerially via drone, it’s necessary to set a time (I recommend about 5 minutes anytime before the sunset).

Intimate footage
Like the photographer, I will need some romantic footage of you together, especially before sunset. To streamline efforts, I typically get these images at the same time as the photographer.

PHOTOGRAPHER

You and I will be spending most of our time together on this day... YAY! In order to make our shooting go smoothly, I usually let the photographers take the lead when it comes to when and where to capture the couple’s images. Only when I have an idea, I may ask for few seconds to capture a particular scene. Also, always feel free to let me know when I’m in your way during your shooting and I’ll do the same. Last but not least, I do use LED spot lights for low-light situation. For example, I may turn them on if it’s necessary during the ceremony, the reception, and the send-off. If you have any question(s), please do not hesitate to contact me below.

DJ/SOUND PERSON

I use 2 portable audio recorders to record quality sound during both the ceremony and the reception for the speeches. One recorder is to be connected to an output from your mixer/soundboard and the other recorder is to be attached on the handheld mic as a backup. Also please note that I do use LED spot lights for low-light situation. For example, I may turn them on if it’s necessary at the reception during the speeches, cutting cake, and the first dances. If you have any question(s) please do not hesitate to contact me below.

OFFICIANT

If it's OK with you, I would like you to be mic'd only during the ceremony for my video sound. If you have any question(s) please do not hesitate to contact me below.
